      The Sandy relief bill is the second straight major piece of legislation that has passed despite most Republicans voting against it. The Hastert rule has pretty much been broken. In the end, the Drunk Weepy Oompa-Loompa may have no choice but to bow to pressure and give it a vote.

      That requires public support from a majority. And it can be delayed.

      A determined coalition can also vote in its own Speaker. Betcha that would be a Republican to make things work, but Bircher efforts to replace Boehner could produce THE COALITION in a trice.

      Business GOPers are damn sick of their Bircher counterparts. Anti-abortion single-issue loons are much better -- they cough up votes and get nothing.
