    Seriously, who runs? Everyone who has county-wide, progressive appeal would rather be elected mayor in 2015, and would not risk a career by taking on an incumbent congressman.

    I just don't see how anyone does it in August 2014, with no contested races on the ballot, turnout at its lowest, and Republicans free to crossover.

    2016 may be the best chance for a challenger, if  one of term limited council members at large runs (after losing the race for mayor).

    It is easy to say from the outside, harder to do from the inside.
