    the links from your link to this vertical planter made with a shoe holder. I LOVE IT! It would be great for things like cilantro, parsley, and greens that are delicate and usually get munched by the snails in my yard. I'm going to try it this year.

    I get zero sun in the winter in my home. It's positioned just right so that a mountain takes the morning sun from late November to late Feb. My neighbor to the west gets that sun and the southern side is the spare bedrooms.

     I use a small grow light for my houseplants and to help me stay sane, but I really hate it. If I could afford it I would have Solar Tubes. But, I am poor.
