  •  You clearly forget... (0+ / 0-) shallow and bland most of the Berman/Braga era was, mostly filled with lifeless characters, special effects driven "nonsense physics anomaly of the week" episodes laden with ridiculous technobabble and plot holes and continuity snafus. Yes, there were some gems in there, but a heft percentage was filler. And that was in TNG alone.

    Voyager was, as well known, all the filler of TNG with none of the bright points and no help from a Patrick Stewart or Avery Brooks to lend charisma and talent to paper over the gaps. But much of TNG was no better than Voyager was.

    As to DS9... I liked it a hundred times better when they called it Babylon 5.
