    same climate here in southwestern NH either. We used to be the ones who got 30 inches of snow when the rest of the area got 15, which was normal for a midwinter to early spring snow. Now for the last 7 or 8 years we get predictions of 6 inches and receive 3 in the end.
         Our woods used to be so damp that you could smell the mushrooms and we had 12 different kinds at the same time once. Now it's too dry for most of them and my wetland flowers are gone too.

      Plenty of water in Quabbin reservoir. 10-20 years ago, Boston was warned drought conditions coming. But maybe it's because water/sewer is over $1K/yr for average family.

      OTOH, was planning to retire to Arizona but that joint is getting too hot and Colorado river getting too low.

      Why move from Boston? Looks like a few more years, no snow at all but plenty of- water for the new palm trees.
