  •  Sir or Madam, we've both been here a very long (4+ / 0-)

    time.

Bringing up fights from other diaries is forbidden.

If you feel that the Admins haven't done their jobs properly, please contact them but keep it out of my diary.

BTW, I've been composing this diary for over a week, as I made reference to it here:

issue that is being touted as the "greatest solution since tax-breaks for the wealthy create jobs!"

I've been composing a diary to explore the reasons I've seen for a very long time, the tool used is a symptom of the destructive policies implemented by the Republicans 30 years ago and perpetuated by us Democrats today.

They now want us to ignore the reality we've all been forced into abject poverty due to their insistence we remain a member of the WTO, their refusal to renegotiate NAFTA & GATT, their continued tax breaks for the 1% that cost us a cool Trillion in lost revenues in less than 8 yrs, unfunded resource wars, failure to prosecute the criminals on Wall Street after the largest heist in human history, the failures of the racist drug war that has generationally destroyed the African American family.

Then they tell us its the evil gun that is destroying our society and killing people.

Nope, poverty kills more Americans than any gun ever will.  The lack of living wage jobs force our inner city residents into the one growth industry left, drugs.  And it's clear they know this, don't they?  The HSBC deal reveals that for us all!

All these things lead us down a path to DESPAIR.

That's the cause no one will acknowledge or accept.  The gun didn't cause that, Washington, DC did.

I could care less if anyone is armed or not.  I'm not afraid of that tool and those whom may wield it.  I'm more "concerned" when the highest Attorney in the land tells us this:
The Constitution guarantees due process, it does not guarantee judicial process.
And what it means to each and every one of us and that damn piece of paper.
