    Even if it's only 60% effective, that makes me less likely to get the flu. But I want you to get a flu shot too. Then you will be less likely to get the flu and pass it along to me. People who refuse vaccinations for contagious illnesses endanger, not just themselves, but other people too.

      We really need to take care of each other. There are some people who can't take vaccines for real valid medical reasons. These illnesses kill. If the herd is immunized, we protect each other, especially our most vulnerable members.

      It's such a basic progressive concept.
