    Salaried workers work for less and they work longer.. much longer then forty hour work weeks.  

    Because there are no unions for so many of them - retail workers, IT workers, support staff, accounting staffs.... because of that they have no one in the room to ask for a better division of profits that more accurately reflects their performance and the company performance.

    It starts becoming a cycle.  Wages go up at A, then so does their contribution to medicaid, medicare, social security.

    In the end, it's becoming back door theft of the social safety net.
