  •  As always, your kindness is an example for us. (17+ / 0-)

I just happened upon this diary, but decided to read it because I noticed your name on it.

There are no religion triggers for me, although I was raised Roman Catholic and am all too well aware of what has been done in the name of religion over the centuries.

Your simple kindness in trying to spare others the pain of reading a diary that might--I stress might--contain a trigger for them, is an example of how we should all treat each other.

In recent weeks, there have been too many diaries that are full of heat and very little light.  Emotions and tempers run hot and calm reason flees in the face of contempt.  More diaries need the touch of loving kindness, in its best sense.

    Yours is a lovely example.

As for the naysayers, I have only this to offer: we are kind to each other because the alternative diminishes us all.  Whether reciprocated or not, our obligation is to love one another.

    Pax.

We cannot call ourselves a civilised society if we refuse to protect the weakest among us.
