I'll just leave this like this and say nothing since every time I do say something I get attacked.

And then people wonder why I don't want to write here.

C'mon, cut the pity-party and make the minor change to the diary to reflect that this isn't an official party.  Constructive criticism isn't a bad thing.

      •  "Gramatically correct" does not equal "Clear" (1+ / 0-)

It was a simple request to clarify the diary.   That doesn't equal "poor reading comprehension".  For those not involved with the DC inaugrual scene, it seems a reasonable error.

And my observation was addressing the pre-emptive "woe is me" post about how you hate to post here because someone may say something bad.   That complain strikes hollow when you look at the number of diaries and comments you've posted in the last 24 hours alone.

Listen to them. Treat them like guests in your home.

You can disagree, I do it all the time, but disagree with their points all you want as long as you acknowledge that they do have a point, it's just one you don't agree with.

I like that you get passionate, and bring that passion here, but we will only remain friends if we acknowledge each other as decent people whith whom we occasionally disagree.

I thought your Diary had a good point, and was well worth writing and reading. The criticisms are not about that, they are about clarity. The title is accurate, but it leaves an important point unsaid .... That is what you are being told ... and only that.

I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
but I fear we will remain Democrats.

Proper grammar would have been to capitalize "removed" and "stage."
