    most other athletes retire at a relatively young age due to the physical demands of the game.

    Few football or baseball players make it to 40. Just about nobody makes it to 50.

    But pro golfers routinely play up to their 60s. Hell, there's a pro tour just for golfers OVER 50.

    So pro golfers make out like BANDITS. Not only do they have a longer working life than most athletes, they have a boatload of money when they retire, and they tend to STILL have a boatload of money when they die - which is often in their 70s or 80s.

    When has a relatively recent football or hockey player died in their 80s? Coaches, maybe. But somebody who played more than a few seasons?
