  •  They may be devoted to wars... (7+ / 0-)

that other people fight.  Them getting some of the action...not so much.  Chicken-hawks for the most part.

You have the right to remain silent. If you waive that right you will be accused of class warfare.

    •  Exactly right----their devotion IS (0+ / 0-)

to wars that other people fight.  They're quite happy to pay for and run the wars---but NEVER do their get their hands dirty with the actual waging of war.  That's for other people----you know, the 47%ers and people of color and immigrants.

      •  Actually, they aren't 'happy to pay for' (3+ / 0-)

        the wars.

The last two GOP wars -- Iraq and Afghanistan -- were fought totally 'off the books.'

        •  You're absolutely right and I (0+ / 0-)

stand corrected.  My brain does not seem to be "connecting" very well today.  I am very well aware that the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were not put on the balance sheet when begun and it just plain slipped my mind.  I've had to correct two different things related to my above comments.  I think I'll just read and not write for awhile or until I can write coherently!
