I can see where the other side is coming from.

OTOH, I suppose what pushed me over the edge today was perusing my latest issue of C&E News and seeing the headline Court Strikes Down EPA Rules For Soot

My immediate reaction was "For fuck's sake, why is Obama continuously stymied by the GOP-packed courts full of Neanderthals who don't get environmental issues?"

But then upon reading the article the ironic denouement was:

A federal appeals court has ruled that EPA must implement stronger requirements to clean up soot and other types of fine particulate matter emitted from industrial facilities and motor vehicles. On Jan. 4, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit rejected the agency’s flexible approach to implementing air quality standards for particulate matter. The court ruled that the public health protections in the Clean Air Act require EPA to apply more stringent cleanup requirements in communities with unhealthful levels of this type of pollution.
IOW, the court chided the EPA for siding with polluters - WTF!?! that's not what I voted for!!!  And that's just the tip of the iceberg - but in the spirit of celebration, I'll try to restrain myself from further tirades today  .. .
    •  The other thing this remind me of (0+ / 0-)

is when John Kerry was at Sun Valley in December 2004 partying with Arnold and Dennis Miller (yay! fun, fun, fun whether you win or lose!!) while the grunts on the ground in Ohio were futilely trying to expose election fraud that very well may have given George W his second term (Family Guy is about the only MSM source, btw, that ever picked up on this .. . ).

OK, I said I wasn't going to go on tangential rants about this, sorry. kinda.

      But that's just my opinion.

That's not even "gun control". It's more like "massacre control".
