  •  They hated Clinton with a comparable passion (8+ / 0-)

as President Obama and they especially hated Hillary.

I don't remember the real anger building about Bush until he started to impose his right wing agenda. Of course it got worse as he did more and more.

The RW talking heads seem to be shocked, shocked I tell you that their readers begin to mimic what they say.

I have never been able to figure out if Fox is the propaganda arm of the Republican party or is the Republican Party the political subsidiary of Fox.

after the supreme court called it for GW.
and after his minions pounded down the doors in Florida.
and he  and his brother someone moved FL in their column.
there was so much 'give him a chance" here at DK.
the anger only started after the wars.

      uh huh. whatever.

      •  Lots hated GWB from the start (6+ / 0-)

for the stolen election.  After 9/11 it seemed to me that many pulled behind him to support our country.  How in any way does that administration compare to this one besides lots of expressed hate.  One has a reason to hate the previous administration.   There is no reason to hate the current one.

for quite a while until all the war talk started up and the invasion of Iraq. Sure people were upset about the election and SCOTUS decision about Bush...but it all seemed to subside and even disappear for a while after September 11th. In fact, I remember wanting to hear from Bush that day and wondering where our President was and wanting to hear him reassure and comfort us.

By which time it was obvious that Bush was pivoting from Afghanistan to Iraq for no defensible reason. So by the time Daily Kos existed, whatever tiny benefit of the doubt Bush had been given was already long gone.

I was around for the pre-Scoop days and will always kick myself for not registering until much later. So many opportunities to wave a UID in people's faces, lost forever :(
