UPI wire reports might be problematic to some

UPI was purchased in May 2000 by the Unification Church's media corporation, News World Communications, which, at the time, also owned the Washington Times and newspapers in South Korea, Japan, and South America. The next day, UPI's White House correspondent, Helen Thomas, resigned her position, after working for UPI 57 years.

paid ads around the content space, but I tend to use them for straightforward stories since becoming disenchanted with both AP and Reuters, in terms of their content offered.

That is, I can more easily find UPI stories with "just the facts, M'am" when I need them.

So, it's been a "least bad" compromise for 1-2 years.

I'll take your comment into further consideration, thanks.
