  •  Reasonable answers to unreasonable statements. (20+ / 0-)

Is it just me, or is this kind of entirely obvious push back something that journalists in this country could possibly think of when they hear the silly rhetoric of the right?  Or have  things really gotten so far down the road to "keep the story alive any way you can" from the corporate media bastids that want to sell the right wing bullshit that the journalists have had their mouths duct taped shut?

I believe I know, but you all tell me what you think...

Someone once asked me why do you always insist on taking the hard road? and I replied why do you assume I see two roads?

      this story "has legs" ...

tragically however 40 of them and more in grade school,

nor a dozen legs, ready to teach them.

The Traditional Media will "kill the story"

when it reaches its intractable tangled logjam,

      as per usual.

Here's how the game is really Rigged.

    •  Obama (5+ / 0-)

Was the best thing for the NRA.  The House is safe for years now that they have the map and anything Obama or Democrats say or do can be made into a crazy sound bite.  From them.  Obama never said the word gun.

They had to pick out a word he used that the Hannity listeners would:

      1.  Understand
      2.  Would mean absolutely coming for you.

Bet this has been planned for months.

They had one or two marketing firms working overnight so Wayne could delivery this speech today.

They could care less about the crowd there.  Or the base.  Or the carnage.  The is big business.  The gun manufacturers are making a lot of money.

And realistically they are 100 percent safe for the next two years and beyond.  The House is bought.  And the Senate is and way to advertise.  Scare wingnuts in Red States with ads about the Democratic Senator.

Mitch McConnell just made a ton of money with that email yesterday.

That was researched.  The gun lobby spends good money on that.  If gun nuts send the money then they won't have too.
