    of the fetus personhood idea, but what I am pointing out in my previous post is that you shouldn't rely on the text of Section 1 of the 14th Amendment to fight it in court.

    It states that there are citizens and persons, and that citizens are persons born in the US or naturalized. But persons, even if they are not citizens, are still entitled to equal protection under the law.

    Of course, you could look at the 1860s, when the 14th Amendment was written, and you will very likely see that no one used the term "person" to apply to the unborn, but do you really trust an "originalist" like Scalia to do that when a case would come before the Supreme Court?

    Repeal the 2nd amendment.
