      ... we should probably take a moment to reflect on the wisdom of that kind of strategy. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with anything up this thread, but I do think there's a healthy dose of knee-jerk in it that ought to be thought through carefully.

        it is so tiresome looking at a winning strategy and learning from it.

      •  Too harsh Nano... there's often confusion over (0+ / 0-)

        whether a "base" strategy means motivating the solidly liberal voters or "expanding the base", by not offending liberals who also feel strongly about issues like RBKA.

        To stlkaper I would say that this diary is promoting the former, not the latter.
