    but people who voted for Ralph Nader got to speak their mind and had NO effect on the outcome of the election. Mr. Gore neither won his own putative home state or his boss Bill Clinton's state of Arkansas nor did he get a majority of registered Democratic voters in Florida.

    That got us the Bush error, along with an utterly corrupt majority decision in Bush v. Gore- a decision so corrupt that even the Justices who voted for Bush made it clear that it was not to be used as a basis in future case law.

    Twelve years doesn't change the fact that the only person who lost the election for Al Gore was...Al Gore.
