    lack of a personhood amendment, their hands were tied--despite longstanding teachings that if one must choose between mother and child, you must save the child so it can draw breath and be baptized. Or soem crap like that which is why my cousin carrying an anencephalic and hydrocephalic fetus was convinced to wait an additional two months after the fetus was discovered to be non-viable---she was prone to pre-eclampsia and oculd have died carrying a fetus that could not live outside the uterus. This is part of the reason I STOPPED being a Catholic.

    Saw my own doc yesterday, asked him if  twins often delivered around this time--early, yes, but not unusual. He said yes.

    The last time we mixed religion and politics people got burned at the stake.
