    I reject all the claims that these proposals aren't going anywhere for this very reason. No one here should think for one second that republicans wouldn't change the way electoral votes are awarded right up until the night before the election. These are Virginia republicans we're talking about here, after all. They're some of the most odious tools in the country!
    And let's not forget Michigan and Wisconsin which have fast become dystopian conservative nightmares. Hell, Michigan republicans hate democracy so much that they're removing already elected officials from power! And Governor Shitler of Wisconsin has proven he will ignore the law entirely  to secure power.

    +++ The law is a weapon used to bludgeon us peasants into submission. It is not to be applied to the monied elite.

      so early.  Given their normal mode of operation, I would have expected to have it rushed through right before the election so there would be no time to fight it.  And as long as Republicans are in charge of the election process, we can count on further dirty tricks to steal elections.
