  •  The NRA has definitely succeeded in making (18+ / 0-)

    everything about their sainted guns (it is not really about the guns, but about the money they and the gun manufacturers make), so that it is no longer about the noble (and difficult) mission of educating our children.  The NRA wants to turn every teacher - whether they want to or not - into extra income on their P&L (their view: "forget about education!  Who needs education if wee have guns!").

    I admire teachers and am very thankful for them, there is no need to try to distract their focus with BS like this (which will not make anyone safer anyway as more guns = more shootings = more deaths).

    Clearly to the NRA having over 100,000 people shot every year (11-12 per hour but "only" 3-4 die every hour), just think about that) is not enough.  I can understand it as since when the shootings/deaths increase people will buy more guns thus increasing their profit.  The real question to me is why is >100k people getting shot every year not enough for out politicians to grow a spine?

    Then they came for me - and by that time there was nobody left to speak up.
