For concealed carriers, how many justifiable self defense uses vs. accidental shootings? For that matter, how many justifiable uses vs. un-justifiable uses (non-accidental)? Is there a stat on this? Or did the NRA prevent the collection of this data?

They do not break out concealed carry as a separate category. (Source here.)

      Total firearm deaths:           31,672
      Suicide by firearm:               19,392
      Homicide by firearms:           11,078
      Accidental discharge:                606
      Intent unknown:                       252

Of the "accidental discharge" deaths, 25 were ages 1-4 and 37 were ages 5-14.

For comparison, deaths due to complications of pregnancy were 825, and accidental drownings, 3,782.

The person most likely to kill you with a gun is yourself.  Not some "bad guy out there".

Conservatives need to realize that their Silent Moral Majority is neither silent, nor moral, nor a majority.
