    ...these things happen to good people, but those same good people do not go and commit suicide.
    If they are "good people" then why were they being prosecuted? Are they only "good people" if they don't commit suicide due to the stress of overzealous prosecution?

    It seems you're suggesting that "good people" just sit back and accept whatever is happening to them, regardless if the government's stated goal is to "make an example" out of them because prosecutorial discretion allows them to run amok.
