    You look at states like, say, Texas that have complete republican control and (currently) no real reason to try to rig the vote. I would imagine that as soon as we switch to a national popular vote, people in blue areas of Texas will start having a much harder time voting (much like Florida now).

    We probably SHOULD switch to a NPV, and that DOES make it harder to rig the vote, but I think it's still a valid concern.
