    The bipartisan bill and talking points for immigration reform include provisions that will increase the number of immigrants seeking jobs in the US.

    As for immigrants already here, those who aren't working will be officially added to the unemployment rolls.  Fair enough, but we obviously need much more aggressive job creation to handle all those currently unemployed.

    As always, job creation and economic stimulus seems to be a non-starter.  With 6 million Americans out of work, a growing wage gap and a disappearing middle class, one would expect this problem be addressed.

    Yet no one in DC talks of economic stimulus or job creation these days.  The topic seems to be verboten.

    Democratic Leaders must be very clear they stand with the working class of our country. Democrats must hold the line in demanding that deficit reduction is done fairly -- not on the backs of the elderly, the sick, children and the poor.
