These early trumpets blowing for 'HILLARY 2016!!" are both absurdly premature and annoying.

But so too are these early effort to knock her out of contention before she even makes a decision as to whether to run.

How about we break for a while, then have a contest a few years from now, and let the candidates and the voters sort it out.

But one point.  This "dynasty" line of attack.  Hillary Clinton just served an excellent tour of duty as U.S. Secretary of State.  Working for her former rival who defeated her for the nomination -- indeed, some would still say he "stole" her 2008 shot at the Presidency.  And doing an overall superb job in what is an extremely demanding role.  I understood the criticism of "dynasty" in 2008, but it rings all the more hollow and dishonest now.  She is extremely and exceptionally qualified, entirely on her own merits.  I hope there will be a real contest for the 2016 nomination when the season comes.  But Hillary Clinton has more than earned her right to run, and to run 100% on her own record of accomplished leadership.

      "Earned it"? WTF?

She's not that special. None of them are.

To put the torture behind us is, inevitably, to put it in front of us.

that she still hasn't earned even the right to run?

Wow.  Hoping you merely misread what I wrote.  I am not suggesting a coronation.  Just saying all of this is too early, but that she's definitely earned the right to try again if she wants to.
