ideological correctness as the measure of truth, so the return of the Birchers (which is what the tea party is) was inevitable without a strong personality to hold them in check.  Infer what you will about the need for a strong personality to lead conservatism.

The right has lost control of the "most electable conservative" test, but you don't see me complaining.  It at least used to be interesting to read some conservative writers in order to poke holes in their arguments.   Maybe they'd even win a round or two.  However, "You're using the term 'senseless' in a different way from how Obama used  it, almost certainly because you are trying to find ways to pander to rubes, of which you are one," is too easy.  I feel like Alexander, who wept for there were no more worlds to conquer.

        Difficult, difficult, lemon difficult.

that socialism was even possible in an iron age society, and it wasn't the people owning that stuff.  He did enjoy him some book larnin' though, which is pretty much all that's required to be called a socialist these days.

            "You're a socialist!"
            "No, I'm just not anti-social."
