    reactionaries.

It's about 1/5th to 1/3rd in just about every country on Earth.

We don't need the third of our population who think the problem with Obama is that he's a socioislamofasnazi.

We need the disaffected 40% who don't vote.  And they lean way left on issue after issue.

We do it the way we did it before.  We do it the way Canada did it.  We start by taking on "New Democrats" in D+15 or more state assembly districts in places like California and Washington and Vermont.

We do it because we can't crack the corrupt state party machines, anymore than we could in the 1890's or the 1930's.  But we can scare the bastards at least a little to the left.

And we can do it without risking a Republican in the White House, if we're smart about it.

media and ideas are disseminated that exists outside of the current corporate structure.

Current TV could have been a nice deal, but they ran it like a corporation.

A new indymedia would be good now.

Putting people in office does nothing to stop the entrapment of the public's mind by the corporate media. It feeds that beast if we play by today's rules.

If there were a megaphone to go along with that political movement, a place outside of that corporate media box and outside of their profit streams, then we'd be getting somewhere.
