    But even if they did, I would imagine they would want to know. In Australia, back in the 70's, there was a huge scandal about a firm that made salami and other kinds of cured meat products. An analysis showed that the products often contained donkey, kangaroo, and other animals. After an official enquiry, employees confessed to often throwing in road kill. So, it could be worse.

      the place that renders the roadkill is owned by the same people who make sausage. they're neighbors.

      NO they don't make sausage out of the roadkill, but we don't buy sausage from them.
