    ...that actually did happen in this country, launched by states that claimed the Feds had gone tyrannical, failed.

    I also don't see the words 'semi-automatic' nor 'extended magazine' in the 2nd Amendment. It just says 'arms' and refers to regulation.

    If the 2nd Amendment supposedly entitles you to the right to a semi-automatic rifle, why doesn't it entitle you to a fully automatic one? Where's the distinction?

    Anyway, right now any kind of armed insurrection would probably be met with Hellfire missiles launched from drones. Think an AR-15 is gonna take out one of those? Or a 100-round magazine?

      armed revolt that happened a few years earlier at Harpers Ferry.

      In the long run, though it didn't look like it at the time, that one succeeded.
