    Casey there was a lively debate in feminist circles (and yes, I count myself in that debate) about whether or not that was essentially the end of Roe.  I leaned toward the side of the affirmative in that debate.  

    Lo these some 20 years later, and I still lean toward the affirmative, and lean a lot farther than I did back then.  Roe is still "good law,"  but just how good is being tested almost daily in this country.  The chart shows to me that we're almost in a pre-Roe world, where it's easier to obtain critical women's care in some states than in others.  "States' rights" seems to nearly have triumphed in a flanking manuever.

      Sometimes it really does suck to be right.
