  •  They're shitting on you Harry (7+ / 0-)

you're a decent man that tried to do the right thing but their response is to immediately turn around and shit on you. You don't deserve that. And... you have the power to solve the problem.

    Do it.

    •  Reid is an idiot (6+ / 0-)

How many times in a row do you have to be kicked in the ass before you quit bending over?

If Reid is so lacking in self-respect it doesn't bother him to be made a fool of by the teabaggers I don't care, but every policy I support is going down in flames with him.

The GOP will INSTANTLY and COMPLETELY abolish the filibuster the very second they ever take control of the Senate again. There is nothing more certain in this world.

      •  I don't think they will. (0+ / 0-)

They can kill it mid session if necessary. We don't use it anyway, we "keep our powder dry".

They'll get rid of it if they have Senate, House, and White House.

        •  If the GOP ever gets 50+1 in the Senate again ... (0+ / 0-)

... the VERY FIRST THING they will do will be to abolish the filibuster. Completely.

Everything will go up-down on voice vote.

Given the ALEC pattern of behavior in the state legislatures only an idiot would doubt this for an instant.

    •  No, most used this issue to fundraise or... (0+ / 0-)

add to their e-mail list to be sold or used for $$$ down the road. This a game and it is rigged against us and Harry is just one of the actors that is upstage while many of the others control his script.
