  •  Reid is an idiot (6+ / 0-)

How many times in a row do you have to be kicked in the ass before you quit bending over?

If Reid is so lacking in self-respect it doesn't bother him to be made a fool of by the teabaggers I don't care, but every policy I support is going down in flames with him.

The GOP will INSTANTLY and COMPLETELY abolish the filibuster the very second they ever take control of the Senate again. There is nothing more certain in this world.

How many times will you have shit thrown in your face before you finally start to smell it?
And you are so, so right about this

    •  I don't think they will. (0+ / 0-)

They can kill it mid session if necessary. We don't use it anyway, we "keep our powder dry".

They'll get rid of it if they have Senate, House, and White House.

      •  If the GOP ever gets 50+1 in the Senate again ... (0+ / 0-)

... the VERY FIRST THING they will do will be to abolish the filibuster. Completely.

Everything will go up-down on voice vote.

Given the ALEC pattern of behavior in the state legislatures only an idiot would doubt this for an instant.
