  •  Very few of them care, including Reid. (7+ / 0-)

Most of the senators with seniority from both parties are bought and paid for.   Reid didn't do filibuster reform that would have made tactics like this come to an end because he didn't want to.   Harry's top three industries donating to his campaigns are 1. Lawyers (personal injury)  2. Securities & Investments 3. Lobbyists.   Now that's some group of straight shooters, eh?

The priest said, "Today's sermon is called 'Liars', but first I have a question. How many of you have read Chapter 66 in Matthew?" Nearly every hand went up. "You're just the group I need to speak to," the priest said. "There's no such chapter."

    •  Although she is not perfect (6+ / 0-)

I would bet Barbara Boxer and many other left-leaning Dems receive money from the same types of donors.

We're not going to get anywhere until we get the $$$$ out of politics.

Until then, our government will be a tyranny of the minority in all matters.

      •  That's exactly right. (0+ / 0-)
