    Ed Whelan continually makes the point that a private organization should have the right to determine its membership -- and they do.

    The Boy Scouts are not undertaking this review because of government pressure. They are doing so as a private organization that relies on donations to sustain itself. An increasing number of corporations and private individuals will no longer fund the organization because of its discriminatory policy. Evidently, this must now be threatening the organization's bottom line.

    The Boy Scouts of America are free to continue its discriminatory policy. They are also free to not have enough money to cover its operating expenses.

    The Boy Scouts of America have no right to anyone's money.

      They either know they need to change because society has moved past them, or they really have had a change of heart.

      Supreme Court rulings don't pay the bills (in this case anyway).

      Take back the House in 2014!!!! ( 50-state strategy needed)
