    In that it used to be a pretty big deal in the world of wingnut PACs, and now it's just one of many hundreds of wingnut PACs and, consequently, has lost influence.

      to stand out in the front tier of PACs.  Their roots in Capitol Hill are deep and many

      •  Their coffers are nowhere near as deep (2+ / 0-)

        as say, the Koch Brothers (Americans for Prosperity) or Karl Rove (American Crossroads).
        The NRA only spent about $3 million on candidates in the 2012 elections.
        Daily Kos has spent more than that.
