    policy has allowed for the new slavery that the GOP wants to foster.  There are 11-12 million people who work for low wages doing tedious, back-breaking jobs while being unable to vote, start legitimate businesses, or even live where they like because of the worry about INS.  The GOP likes this arrangement just fine.  They don't like that with the re-election of a black man minorities are less and less deferent to or fearful of what the white power brokers might do.  It may be decades before the Hispanics vote GOP in large numbers, and the GOP wants immediate love based on their imagined good looks rather than a real courtship.
