    Flagstar is a tiny bank in the scheme of things. The majority of their business (unless they've changed radically since I came to them three years ago) is consumer banking.

    I suspect they lost this case precisely because they are not a big bank. They don't wield the power of BofA or Citycorp.

    In the three years I've been with them, Flagstar has annoyed me a couple of times (marketing phone calls mostly), but they've never ignited the white-hot rage that banking with Bank of America did.

    Wealth doesn't trickle down -- it rises up.

      ...Capitalism posts, linked/excerpted above. And, yes, Flagstar's what I would call the equivalent of a mid-sized to large community bank.
