    lawsuits would be valuable.

    I'd love to get real progress on this front, but don't underestimate the size of the legal teams of the respective banks in question.

    Remember how we cheered on "the Nazgul" of IBM against SCO -- these were greatly hated lawyers from the 70's that somehow avoided being broken up like AT&T was.  

    My legal team is better than your legal team... that kind of thing.

    But if they actually have to disclose stuff (and they'll do their D*MNEDEST to keep it out of public view), that could be a game changer.
