    This landmark is good news for justice. But it's specifically good news for Flagstar's insurer, which will receive the $90M penalty from Flagstar. So the system worked. For the mortgage insurer.

    I'm not that surprised that the publicly funded court system has eventually turned a profit for the other bank that had to cover Flagstar. It's a bank - we pay for the justice that benefits banks.

    I don't see anything in this case that says borrowers can expect justice for the damage done them by lenders. Or the public getting a return on its investment in either the upfront funding these crooked banks, or on the bailout that has made them even bigger than too big to fail was.
