    some of my packages start out as UPS but then are sent to the USPS for delivery. There is no way a private company could efficiently deliver to everyone in the US, nor will they. But the USPS must and does. People in very rural areas are going to be hurt by this, and most don't even realize it yet. They also don't realize why the post office is in such trouble -- the aforementioned pension scheme dreamed up by lame-duck Repubs to hurt an organization with a strong union.
