  •  Here in Atlanta we just didn't have 'winter' (5+ / 0-)

even by wimpy Southern standards. A long cold fall with a very early spring-like thing happening right now.

A flowering fruit tree in front of the hospital has a full blossom on it. A tulip-bush sorta thing in my backyard has already been blooming.

the past 2-3 years, by early October, I'd have to be careful about huge spiders trying to get into the house to have their creepy little 10000 babies. They'd hide at the corner of the kitchen door. I figure they were coming in for the warmth and that this somehow portended a mere severe winter, which we got.

Nary a spider this year. And only one indoor mouse this year.

In January, wasps were flying in my shop.

Things seem very screwy all around.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
