  •  I think you are right (6+ / 0-)

And that was what frustrated me, because it was the whole point of the series...showing how all trauma is related, and the power of making connections and working together to reach a common goal. In fairness, I never got up to that point in the narrative and I was taking too long to get there. I think I need to do some rewriting just to make it more accessible, but it does seem that the time is right...

Guess I better get to work!

    •  As someone who's done a lot of series here . . . (6+ / 0-)

let me just say that that's the norm.  People get bored, uncomfortable, whatever.  A lot of them don't like that sort of thing.  So it's still unlikely to get more than a dedicated core of people regularly participating.

      But it's still worth doing.

Somewhere, along the way, it's going to educate people who need the information.  It's going to comfort someone who's remained silent.  It's going to add to the pool of resources out there.

      So, yes, do it.

      •  I'm fine with that (5+ / 0-)

It's probably a good thing, makes for a better quality of discussion and I think people are more comfortable talking about heavy issues when a diary isn't on the rec list or otherwise highly visible.

Now the only problem is they seem to have disappeared from my drafts o_O And with that, I'm going to bed, and hoping the GOS fairy returns them while I'm sleeping.

        Goodnight all....
