    in these examples could almost make one feel sorry for a member of SCOTUS who wants to rule against marriage equality.

    Nah.  Any sitting judge in a court of law who thinks it's okay to discriminate based on religion deserves no sympathy.

    I don't think some of these briefs deserve a hearing.  The circuitous and faulty logic is embarrassing.  Or at least should be.  It's the equivalent of a school kid's taunt.  

    As for the grammar, read teacherken's posts about what we have in store when the teaching-to-the-test generation comes of employment age.  Sigh.
