    on the part of the editor, or the book designer. Too often, I'll get bogged down in descriptions of directions or location and wish for a map, any map.

    With the Rutledge series, I prowl around on MapQuest, looking for non-existent English villages. Although they usually locate the faux towns somewhere near enough existing ones that I can get an idea of location and geography.

    We are often so identified with whatever thoughts we may be having that we don’t realize the thoughts are a commentary on reality, and not reality itself. -- Gangaji
