  •  This isn't going to end well for Taxin' John (8+ / 0-)

Just in the last 24 hours, I have seen enormous blowback to my Facebook postings from many of my more apolitical Facebook friends, freaking out about the vast range of things the gov. wants to slap a tax on — things that impact almost everyone I know. A lot of small entrepreneurs are mentioning the impact of complicated and time-consuming new record keeping mandates from a governor who claims he wants to get government off people's backs.

You haven't even dug into the blowback to his education "funding" plan, which he admitted in this morning's Columbus Dispatch is based on ideology, not on pragmatic considerations about how best to educate all of Ohio's kids. The Dispatch quotes a bunch of superintendents, many in conservative districts, absolutely tearing him a new one. In the Dispatch! The state's most right-wing newspaper, which has long had a man-crush on Kasich that seems to be dissipating.

And then there's the reneging on the turnpike thing ... but I could go on for days.

    Jon Husted is a dick.
