    but this is not a "tired argument."  We are supposed to be a reality based community.  I am trying to make a point based on the real world we live in.  There is not a logical fallacy in anything I have said. I am serious as a heart attack.

    I know this country and I know these people.  When Senior Airman Benjamin White was killed in Afghanistan, the Westboro Baptist Church crowd was planning to picket his service in his home town in Unicoi County.  They were spotted the day before his funeral, apparently scouting out the location.  They were also seen in Johnson City, TN, the nearest large town with hotel accommodations the day of the funeral.  

    After checking out the location and the people, the Westboro crowd slunk out of town.  They decided it was too risky for them to try a protest in Erwin and went back to wherever they came from.  This is the county of which I speak, if that tells you anything.  Seriously, look it up on Google Earth and get back to me.

    BTW, Unicoi is a Cherokee word that translates as "white," "hazy," "fog-like," or "fog draped."
