    This is similar to the mine data to find the terrorist logic problem.  Terrorism is rare.  Sifting massive data sets to locate terrorists results in a huge number of false positives that 1. result in a waste of public safety resources and 2. violate people's rights.  

    Likewise murder is rare enough that tracking firearms won't do much.  

    Under capitalism man exploits man, under communism the roles are reversed.

      but give it twenty or thirty years and it will make a massive change.
