        First you mock me for not reading and say it didn't happen.

        Then it's ok because after it did happen it was deemed illegal. Lotta good that did for those it happened to.

        You stand steadfast in your belief that it could never happen. I disagree. At one time you needed a warrant to tap a phone or break into someone's home, in my lifetime btw, and that is no longer the case.

          ... the government is coming to take away guns anytime soon or in the foreseeable future.

          There is no connection between the issues you cite and guns. None.

          If the government was going to come after guns, why didn't they do it post-9/11 when some of the abuses you describe were put in place?

          Why didn't the government come after guns after Newtown? There was no clamor among public officials, Republican or Democrat, to confiscate guns.

          It's an irrational fear driven by propaganda and propagandists of the worst sort.
